Dr. Sarah D. Jerome 1967, Arlington Heights, IL, announced her retirement as Superintendent after more than six years with Arlington Heights Elementary District 25 and more than 45 years in education. To read more click  here.

J. Fred Johnson Jr. 1977, Greensboro, Greensboro Day School basketball coach, will lead the East Team in the 2013 McDonald's All-American Game. The game will be help April 3 in Chicago and will air on ESPN at 9:00pm. To read more click  here.

Kevin M. Green 1978, Greensboro, has been appointed to the State Alcoholic Beverage Controll Commission. Green is a realtor in Greensboro and has served as President of the Greensboro Regional Realtors Association, a member of the Executive Committee of the North Carolina Association of Realtors and Chairman of the Greensboro Parks & Recreation Commission, among other positions. Kay Vass Darling 1980, Richmond, VA, was awarded the Masters of Information Science degree from the University of Tennessee in December, 2012.

Aaron J. Weibe 2008, Yorktown, VA, attained the rank of Staff Sergeant.  He graduated from Airman Leadership School last night and brought home the Academic Achievement Award as well as the Distinguished Graduate Award.

Jonathan S. Deming 2013, Graham, plans to hike the Appalacian Trail with his friend John Fabbri. They won't be finishing until August 19, and they'll have covered 2,178 miles along the way. To read more click  here.
