General
Frances Kelly Holland 1942, Charlotte, continues to play the piano for the monthly wine and cheese parties at Sharon Towers Retirement Home.
Lynne Overman Finison 1968, Asheboro, retired following 26 years of service to the state of North Carolina and welcomed her 6th grandchild this year.
Paul J. Kellam 1978, Columbus, OH, has retired following 35 years in education, the last 10 of which were serving as principal of a charter school.  Paul, his wife, and their 150 lb Newfoundland, Moses, will be relocating to Florida and are looking forward to diving, fishing, and traveling.   Retirement will provide time to focus on finishing his book about his experiences in Vietnam and with the Marines, "The Emotional and Mental Wounds of Vietnam."
John A. Williamson 1983, New Beach, CA, moved from Hawaii to California this year to oversee three start-ups all in International Consulting for governments and education.  He hopes everyone in the class of '83 will join the new GC Society.
Heather M. Macy 2000, Winterville, has been named Conference USA Coach of the Year.  Macy has been the head coach of East Carolina's women's basketball program since April 2010.  Additional information about her career and achievements can be found here.
Todd A. Bridges 2002, Clacton-on-Sea, Essex, United Kingdom has been accepted by Essex University pursuing his MA in History.  Bridges plans to graduate in 2015 with a goal of obtaining his doctoral degree in History and becoming a Professor.  Special thanks are extended to Dr. Mike Sistrom, Dr. Regan Lutz, and Dr. Rebecca Klase for their advice and Greensboro College for assisting the development of the determination and skills needed to "make my dreams come true."
Joy Hensley George 2003, Buena Vista, VA, has signed a two book deal for her debut novel.  "THE PANDORA SOCIETY" will be published with Harper Teen in Fall 2014.  For more information click here.
Paula A. Barra Fierro 2009 MA TESOL, Chile, is the Race Director of English Education at Universidad Adventista de Chile.
Marti K. Feathers-MaGee 2011, Winston Salem, is Program Director of Invasive Cardiac & Vascular Technology at Forsyth Technological Community College.
