Rev. Ladale S. Benson 2012, Concord, gathered with several thousand demonstrators opposing new policies and laws regarding cuts to Medicaid, unemployment benefits and other issues at the State Legislative Building on June 10, 2013.  Ladale was one of dozens arrested, may of whom are members of the clergy.  Benson is the Associate Pastor and Seminary Intern at Wedegwood Baptist Church in Charlotte.  To read more about the protests in Raleigh, click here.  Ladale can be seen on Slide 3 being led away by Raleigh and General Assembly Police.
