Mary Emma Harris 1965, has been named the first Black Mountain College Legacy Research Fellow at UNC Asheville.  Harris, who is considered the pre-eminent scholar on the subject, released her book, The Arts at Black Mountain College, in 1987.  To read more, click this link. 
Patrick A. Palsha 2008, Williamsburg, VA, is pursuing an MBA with a concentration in consulting from the College of William and Mary, Raymond A. Mason School of Business.  After leaving his command during the summer of 2016, and resigning his commission in the active Army, he received a commission in the Virginia National Guard as a Captain serving as an Assistant Operations Officer.
