Bonnie Watson Ramos 2006, of San Antonio Tx, was named one of the 12 recipients of the San Antonio Mayoral/County Judge Outstanding Science and mathematics Teaching Award in Feb, 2011. Ramos is currently a secondary mathematics teacher in Northside ISD, San Antonio , Tx.
Tara J. Titcombe 2008 of Tempe, Az, was recently relocated to Arizona for the Project Manager position with US Airways magazine.
Tessa M. Hall 2010, Greensboro, has recently been promoted to the new Marketing Specialist position at Nationwide Marketing Group (NMG) in its RentDirect division. Robert Bickerstaff has returned to Greensboro College! After GC’s loss of coach Charlotte Dixon-Graves, Bickerstaff came back to GC and became the Head Women’s Lacrosse coach on Oct. 12, 2011.
Cheryl L. Brown, Professor of Sociology at Greensboro College, was featured in the NC Campus Compact's video, "An Invitation to Service Learning." Dr. Brown is one of 6 faculty members who have received the statewide Robert L. Sigmon Service-Learning Award because of the significant contributions she has made in the field of service-learning and community engagement.
Michelle Davis, Greensboro, was hired as the Senior Development Officer in Institutional Advancement at Greensboro College on Sept. 15, 2011.
Victoria Duggan is now the new Enrollment Assistant in Admissions and Chris Woelfel is the new Enrollment Data Manager at Greensboro College. They both started in Oct. 2011.
Robert P. Linville, former Greensboro College Golf Coach, claimed his first Carolinas PGA senior title of the year on Oct. 12, 2011.
Annette Orbert has been hired as the new Associate Director of Admissions at Greensboro College. She starts in this position Nov. 1, 2011.
Brandi Phillips was hired as the new Associate Director of Career Exploration and Development at Greensboro College. She started in July, 2011.
Marcus Phillips was hired on Sept. 30, 2011 to be an Admissions Counselor at Greensboro College.
Dr. Jerome Sauret, part time faculty member at Greensboro College in the Kinesiology division, successfully defended his dissertation at UNCG on Oct. 28, 2011.
Michael Simmons, Reference Librarian and Learning Commons Coordinator at Greensboro College, is leaving GC at the end of the fall semester to pursue further graduate study. Join us in wishing him luck in his future pursuits.
