Boo Hunt Jobe 1961, Greensboro, received the Distinguished Alumni Award during Alumni Weekend Saturday, April 10, 2010.

Margaret Harry Kluttz 1965, a current Greensboro College trustee, was named development officer for Hood Theological Seminary in April.

Susan Glover Sullivan 1967, Vashon, Wash., received the Distinguished Alumni Award during Alumni Weekend Saturday, April 10, 2010.

Judy Scoggin Peede 1968, Chocowinity N.C., received the Alumni Excellence Award during Alumni Weekend Saturday, April 10, 2010.
Raymond F. Jaklitsch 1968 was recently made Director of Cleveland Campus, Johnston Community College in Clayton. Ray resides in Selma. 

Henry "Mack" Simons 1971, Virginia Beach, Va., shares the following news: "After retiring from American Airlines last year, I have been working full-time as the president of the Virginia Beach Symphony ("Symphonicity"). Check out our season at our website. Greensboro College really did have a great music school!  Hello to all the old friends from the Class of  '71."


Albert E. Horne 1974 was posthumously inducted into the Delaware Basketball Hall of Fame by the Delaware Interscholastic Basketball Association on March 20, 2010.  He was All-Dixie Conference at Greensboro College in 1971. Horne died in 1992 at age 43.

Keith Ray 1979, Waynesville, received the Alumni Excellence Award during Alumni Weekend Saturday, April 10, 2010.
Howard "Cliff" Craven 1986, Pleasant Garden, received the inaugural Ann P. Lojko Distinguished Staff Award on April 6, 2010. Craven was the award recipient among Greensboro College employees with more than five years of service.

Wendy Shope Gaines 1987, was inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame for Volleyball and Basketball during Alumni Weekend Saturday, April 10, 2010.
Erik Bayersdorfer 1994, Clearwater Beach, Fla., two time collegiate All America lacrosse player and Greensboro College Hall of Fame member,  was recently inducted along with his Montclair High School 1987-88 championship ice hockey team into the New Jersey State Ice Hockey Hall of Fame.
Rod Thomas 1993, Statesboro, Ga., was inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame for Men's Lacrosse during Alumni Weekend Saturday, April 10, 2010.
Anne Scott 1998, Grottoes, Va., was inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame for Tennis, Volleyball, and Basketball during Alumni Weekend Saturday, April 10, 2010.
Kevin O'Connell 2002, was inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame for Men's Golf during Alumni Weekend Saturday, April 10, 2010.
Carolyn Watkins Flowers 2003, Browns Summit, N.C., received the Alumni Excellence Award during Alumni Weekend Saturday, April 10, 2010.
Jon Hardister 2006, Greensboro, is a candidate for the 57th District of the North Carolina House.
Daniel Chambers 2009, Greensboro, received the Ann P. Lojko Distinguished Staff Award on April 6. Chambers was the award recipient among Greensboro College employees with five years or less of service.
Patrick Palsha 2009, Fort Lewis, Wash., earned a commission in the Army Officer Corps at Fort Benning, Ga., on June 4th, 2009, and was deployed on Jan. 2, 2010, to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom as a platoon leader and fire direction officer of 2nd Platoon/B-Battery/3-17 FA/5-2 SBCT.
Dr. Michael A. Dutch, Greensboro, received the Outstanding Teaching Award during Alumni Weekend Saturday, April 10, 2010.
Ryan Nelsen was inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame for Men's Soccer during Alumni Weekend Saturday, April 10, 2010.
Kim Strable, Athletics Director 1989-2009, Greensboro, was inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame during Alumni Weekend Saturday, April 10, 2010.
