Jann Haynes Gilmore PhD, 1968, Alexandria, VA, is spending the month of October in New Mexico launching her new biography of Santa Fe artist, Olive Rush (1873-1966) titled Olive Rush: Finding Her Place in the Santa Fe Art Colony, published by the Museum of New Mexico Press. Gilmore will give five talks and book signings in Santa Fe, Rosewell, and Albuquerque. In early October she will give two talks in Indiana in Richmond and Muncie. Her last book presentation for 2016 will be at the Principle Gallery in Alexandria, VA. on November 15. A program on Olive Rush with a book signing is being planned for GC alumni weekend in April 2017.

of the Winston-Salem Dash has been honored by the Carolina League, which has
given him its 2016 Calvin Falwell Executive of the Year.

Kushtrim A. Hoxha 2003, has recently been seen in guest roles on several TV series:
Elementary, Person of Interest, and the season opening of Blue Bloods.

Benjamin K. Edwards 2004, joined Key Resources Inc., which is a
Greensboro based staffing firm with offices in Burlington, Graham and
Winston-Salem. He has joined the team
as Director of Business Development.
Edwards will manage planning, reporting, quota setting, management, sales
and administration.

Donald E. Watkins 2010, has moved back to his hometown,
Greensboro, after living in Baton Rouge, LA for six years. He told the News
& Record that it is "simply because he can." He does not need to live somewhere a movie
is getting made in order to get a role in it.
Watkins says, "he would much rather wait for parts here in
Greensboro with his family".
