Burton A. Bumgarner 1974, Pineville, was appointed Director of Music and Organist at Grace Lutheran Church in Hendersonville. Bumgarner is married to Cathleen Brady Bumgarner 1975. Read the article at the church's website.
Pamela Hardin Bennett 1996, Greensboro, has been promoted from Executive Assistant to the Director of the Teacher Education Program at Greensboro College to Assistant Director of the Teacher Education Program. Dr. Paul Leslie made the announcement in September, thanking Pam "for her many years of tireless and dedicated work on behalf of the Teacher Education Program and the College."
Beverly Collins Purssord 1999 and John-Paul Purssord 1999, Odenton, Md., are keeping Greensboro College faculty, staff, alumni, and friends updated about their son, Jack, as he receives treatment for a brain tumor. Heather L. Burdette 2002, a former Greensboro College staff member, has accepted the position of Associate Registrar at The Art Institute of Charlotte.
Kate E. Roberton 2005, State College, Pa., is in her final year of graduate school at Penn State University. Kate is getting her MBA with concentrations in marketing and supply chain and will be looking to relocate to either the Cincinnati area or Charlotte area after graduation in May.
Edwin B. Arnaudin 2006, Asheville, has been hired as Librarian I in Circulation at the Transylvania County Library in Brevard.
Marcellus L. Morgan 2007, Creedmoor, was recently hired as an assistant coach for the boys basketball team at Christian Faith Center Academy in Creedmoor. Read more by clicking here.
